While visiting Qingdao, I decided to spend a day in Jinan and chose the Shangri-La. Before checking in, I called to confirm that my room was ready. The lobby is impressive, and the room was spacious, quiet, and well-equipped. The toiletries were excellent, and I particularly liked the eco-friendly bamboo toothbrushes and combs. The hotel is conveniently located opposite Quancheng Square, perfect for an evening stroll to watch the musical fountain. Baotu Spring is also within walking distance. There are plenty of malls nearby, and both takeout and dining options are easily accessible. The old city, however, is genuinely congested; it took almost 40 minutes to get to Jinan Station by taxi, and I barely made my train. The hotel also seems to offer intangible cultural heritage activities, but I didn't have time to participate. I would definitely choose this hotel again for a more leisurely trip to Jinan.

Just got back from Yantai, and my stay at the Hilton Yantai Golden Coast was unexpectedly pleasant. What I loved most was the view; I could see the shimmering sea right from my bed in the room. The family room was just the right size, and the bedding was soft and breathable. The public facilities were well-maintained; it was lovely to squeeze in a workout at the gym in the morning. Henny's service was spot-on, always handling any issues promptly and smoothly. The hotel has been around for a while, so some minor details aren't perfect, but its relaxed atmosphere makes up for it. Taking a stroll to Golden Beach after dinner to enjoy the sea breeze really maximized the vacation vibe. If you're looking to gaze at the sea and relax, this place is highly recommended. Overall, I'm very satisfied!

Just checked out of the Crowne Plaza Qingdao Ocean Spring Resort, and this 3-day, 2-night 'lie-flat' vacation was truly therapeutic. We didn't have to rush to any attractions, making it perfect for families with kids or those looking for a quiet escape. The hotel has a European castle style, and the high-ceilinged lobby with a crystal chandelier immediately sets a holiday mood upon entry. We were lucky enough to get a complimentary upgrade to a sea-view room. The room itself was generously sized, but the real highlight was the large balcony. Stepping out, you're greeted by an unobstructed view of Aoshan Bay. We enjoyed watching the sunrise from bed in the morning and the sunset over the sea in the evening – simply an amazing view. While some areas of the facilities showed a bit of age, the overall cleanliness and tidiness were quite good. Downstairs, there's a beach where you can wade in the water or dig in the sand – the kids absolutely loved it. There's also an outdoor children's swimming pool, and hotel guests have unlimited access. Next to it, there's a small petting zoo, where feeding the animals easily fills up a whole day.

When traveling to Qingdao, I chose to stay at the Westin, initially drawn by its location and hotel standard. However, the front desk service truly impressed me. I had to change my check-in time last minute during my trip, and after communicating online in advance, the front desk staff prepared everything for my check-in. Upon arrival, I didn't have to wait long in the lobby and was able to check in quickly, which saved me a lot of hassle after a long journey. During check-in, considering I was tired from a long journey, the staff spoke in a calm and soothing manner, providing only essential and practical information. Throughout my stay, I called the front desk multiple times to inquire about luggage storage and late check-out policies. Each time, they answered promptly, provided clear explanations, and offered suitable solutions from a guest's perspective. Check-out was transparent and reassuring. Even near shift change, the staff diligently completed their tasks without rushing guests or being perfunctory. Throughout my entire stay, the front desk team was polite and composed, demonstrating professionalism. During busy times, they worked efficiently and calmly. When it was less busy, they remained at their posts and maintained their service-oriented attitude, without any slack or idleness. Excellent service is hidden in many small details; there's no forced politeness, yet every interaction makes you feel secure and comfortable. The front desk's service alone is enough to make me willing to stay again, and I sincerely recommend it to friends visiting Qingdao.

My stay at the Mövenpick Hotel Qingdao West Coast far exceeded my expectations! The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were well-maintained, making for a very comfortable stay. Annie, a staff member, was incredibly kind and friendly, and responded quickly to any requests. The hotel's location is super convenient for transportation, making it easy to get around, and there are plenty of options for dining, entertainment, and activities nearby. The environment is quiet, perfect for a good night's sleep, and the value for money is excellent. I highly recommend it whether you're visiting the West Coast for leisure or business!

This stay was fantastic! The hotel environment was clean and comfortable, and the room was very pleasant to stay in. They offer a breakfast with a wide variety of delicious options. The biggest surprise was the front desk staff, particularly a young man who was incredibly warm and attentive. He patiently helped with all our questions and had an excellent attitude. The location is also a huge plus – it's very close to the airport, just a five or six-minute walk to the terminal, which is super convenient for catching flights without rushing. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next layover.

We were very satisfied with our overall vacation experience. First and foremost, I'd like to commend Levi at the front desk – he was incredibly enthusiastic and helpful. After speaking with him, he assisted us in requesting a late check-out and thoughtfully recommended a local spot for delicious BBQ and beer. He was also very thorough in explaining all the facilities. Midway through our stay, the air conditioning in our room stopped working. We reported it, and the issue was resolved very quickly. The check-in process was efficient, and the staff were friendly. The hotel is very close to the beach, so the location is great. Although we encountered a minor equipment issue, the response was prompt and the problem was handled effectively. Our overall experience was excellent, and the staff's service was a big plus. We will definitely prioritize this hotel again on our next visit to the West Coast, and a big thanks to Levi for his thoughtful assistance.

Traveling with kids, my priority was a hotel with direct beach access, which led me to choose the Hyatt Regency Qingdao Shanhai. The location is truly a huge plus! 🌊 You can go straight down to the beach from the hotel and even catch the sunrise over the sea, which significantly enhanced our experience. It's also very close to Wheat Island, Fushan Forest Park, and the Polar Ocean World, making sightseeing and excursions effortless. The executive lounge offers breathtaking views and a wide panorama, and the food quality is excellent; it's a very pleasant spot to relax. A special thanks to Sheila ✨ from the staff. She was incredibly patient and attentive from the booking stage, helping me compare and analyze the executive and sea-view rooms, giving suitable recommendations based on my needs, and enthusiastically suggesting nearby attractions. She also arranged for a child safety rail. Since we were with a child, we also received a complimentary sand play bucket. I initially expected an ordinary freebie, but I was pleasantly surprised by its excellent craftsmanship and quality; my child absolutely loved it. The service throughout our stay was meticulous and thoughtful, making for a truly wonderful overall experience. Highly recommended for families with children! We will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Qingdao.

We chose Shangri-La Qingdao for our family trip with kids, and the entire stay exceeded our expectations! The check-in process was incredibly thoughtful, with a warm welcome tea and complimentary beer offered, instantly washing away our travel fatigue upon arrival. The staff proactively introduced the hotel's kids' craft area. My child absolutely loved the various clay DIY and creative craft projects, especially playing with Cherry – they had so much fun they didn't want to leave, which was a lifesaver for us parents. We even added Cherry on WeChat, and she patiently answered all our questions, meticulously recommending nearby attractions and authentic local restaurants tailored to our family's itinerary. She also distinguished between trendy spots and family-friendly places, helping us plan routes that saved time and effort. The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to May Fourth Square and the Olympic Sailing Center. Our room was clean and comfortable, and service responses were prompt. We felt the meticulous and thoughtful care everywhere. It's perfect whether for a short break or as a base for exploring Qingdao. With its superior facilities, warm service, and fun kids' activities, it's highly recommended for family travel. Next time we visit Qingdao, Shangri-La will still be our top choice.
