Although the room was relatively small, it was extremely well organized and made excellent use of the available space, making it feel very comfortable and convenient. The highlight for me was definitely the shower—there was an impressive flow of hot water, which made every shower feel luxurious and refreshing. Another big plus was the breathtaking view overlooking a beautiful bay in Hong Kong. Waking up to such scenery every morning was an absolute treat and truly made my stay memorable. Despite being in such a vibrant area, I didn’t find it noisy at all. The atmosphere was peaceful, allowing for a great night’s sleep. The hotel is also conveniently located close to plenty of attractions, restaurants, and shops, making it easy to explore the city and enjoy everything it has to offer. Pros: 1. It's very close to the tram station and bus stop, and there's a supermarket and department store just across the street. The street with the bus stop also has many restaurants. (The Wellcome supermarket has very cheap water). The hotel provided a kettle, but I didn't dare drink the water (even though they said it was filtered), so I had to buy my own. 2. It's quiet, meaning the street side is peaceful. The bed is soft and the pillows are comfortable. The bathroom is very large with separate wet and dry zones. 3. The air conditioning works well and is stable. The hot and cold water in the bathroom is incredibly stable; it gets hot very quickly and stays hot for a long time. Cons: 1. The hotel is undergoing renovation, which is expected to be completed by the end of August 2026. However, I didn't hear any noise during my stay. Perhaps the floor I was on wasn't being renovated. (The staff did show me a warning sign about this before check-in). 2. You need to prepare HKD 500 for the deposit (room guarantee), which is refunded at check-out (you need to present the receipt). It didn't take long to get it back. 3. I booked a non-smoking room, but it still smelled of smoke. Maybe the smell wasn't completely eliminated. 4. The soundproofing within the hotel rooms isn't great, but it's not terrible either. You might occasionally hear things clearly.

South Nest was surprisingly good. Tucked away in a neat little area at the backside of Hong Kong but easily accessible from downtown by public transportation. The area is nice and offers some good local food options and there are a few art galleries nearby. Staff are friendly and quick and the rooms are not big but are actually quite perfect if you don't need extra space. The large window and the view are also nice, and the common area is cozy and clean.

Situated in Wan Chai, the hotel is surrounded by plenty of restaurants and cafés, and it offers convenient access to nearby areas such as Central, Causeway Bay, and other parts of Hong Kong. One of the biggest advantages is the easy access to the A11 airport bus, making travel to and from the airport simple without the need to take the Airport Express. The room is spacious, well-equipped with all the essential amenities, and features a comfortable bed and a practical work desk, making it suitable for both leisure and business travelers.

The room was at the end of the hall and larger than I expected. The hotel is close to the sea with a private beach and a swimming pool. The views from the hotel are great, perfect for a vacation. Transportation isn't very convenient, but there's a shuttle bus to the subway station. The facilities are quite old but generally clean, though the hygiene could still be improved.

This hotel is located in Tuen Mun. It's very convenient, taking about 30 minutes on the A33X bus directly, with no transfers needed. The room had everything we needed. The lobby is spacious, and even late at night, there were young people gathering, giving it a trendy vibe that I really liked.

My stay at Two MacDonnell Road definitely lived up to its reputation. Located in Mid-Levels, it's an oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle; it was incredibly quiet at night, with no city noise from Central at all, allowing for a very comfortable sleep. The room was much more spacious than most Hong Kong hotels, laid out like an apartment with a small living area and a basic kitchenette. There was plenty of space to spread out my luggage, making for a very relaxing stay. The view was a definite highlight. From a high floor, the expansive city and greenery views were stunning, both day and night. The staff were also polite. However, there were clear downsides: transportation isn't very convenient. It's a bit of a distance from the MTR station, so getting around mainly relied on taxis or the shuttle bus, which could be a bit troublesome when returning at night. The soundproofing was also quite poor. Overall, it's a great choice for those seeking peace and quiet, comfortable accommodation, and who aren't planning to rush through tourist sites every day. It's well-suited for business trips or short stays of a few days. If extreme convenience is your top priority, you might want to reconsider.

This time in Hong Kong, I chose the Rambler Garden Hotel in Tsing Yi, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations, especially for travelers who prioritize value for money and convenient transportation. Location and Transportation: The hotel is situated on the southern coast of Tsing Yi. Although it's a bit far from the city center, transportation is very convenient. From Hong Kong International Airport, you can take the Airport Express to Tsing Yi Station, then transfer to a minibus, which gets you there quickly. There's also a bus stop right downstairs. Room and View: The room isn't small by Hong Kong standards. It was clean and tidy, with daily housekeeping. Facilities were complete, including a TV, a mini-fridge, a hairdryer, and an electric kettle.

The room was clean and well-decorated. Although small, the space was utilized very efficiently, so it didn't feel cramped at all. The hygiene was also excellent, with no strange odors or dust. We booked it during the off-season for just over 400, and it's right across the traffic light from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. Absolutely fantastic value for money!
