With every interaction, they brought warmth, grace, and a genuine desire to make us feel at home. Their quiet attentiveness and heartfelt hospitality added so much depth to the stay, turning each moment into something memorable. This is a place that leaves a mark on your heart. I will miss it dearly and carry the memories with me until I return again. This stay offers great value for money. The hotel has an excellent view of Meili Snow Mountain from its observatory deck on the 5th floor, although the view from the room is partially obstructed by a building on the right-hand side. The reception hall is impressive, and we received a warm welcome with afternoon tea, nighttime desserts, and group activities organized by the hotel, including fireworks. We were very fortunate to catch the Geminid meteor shower during our stay and were able to watch it comfortably from our room—and, of course, to admire Meili Snow Mountain at sunrise.

Lovely hotel with great view, although the weather was not good during the two days we stayed, we still had a great time despite not seeing the full meri mountains. They had promotional activities during the 5/1 holiday where we hand painted tongka, and made ******* weaving stone accessories. The staff was kind and polite. The design of the architecture is stunning, I would recommend all couples to stay at this hotel. The only downside is that nighttime dinner options are very limited, recommend guests to walk out to nearby premises to have dinner instead. The breakfast at this hotel was nice.

It's conveniently located right across from the Meili snow mountain platform. Clean and great amenities. Fantastic breakfast right after the sunset viewing.

We highly recommend staying in Yolo Guesthouse if you are staying overnight at Upper Yubeng Village. The owner and staff of the guesthouse was very friendly, helpful and informative throughout our stay. We connected through WeChat prior to arrival and liaised with the guesthouse for transport from Lower Yubeng to upper Yubeng. The transport was included in the reservation. On arrival in the afternoon, the staff introduced and escorted us to a nearby restaurant for lunch even though it was drizzling. The guesthouse is strategically located to have views of the valley downstream and upstream. The building structure is sturdy and well designed compared to many other accommodations in the villages. The interior of the room and the rooftop coffee bar is beautifully designed and clean. They also have Dyson hairdryer and Smeg electric kettle. Coffee at the rooftop bar was decent but it was accompanied by amazing views of the valley. We were the only ones at the rooftop bar after check in and we also had their in-house hotpot at night which we enjoyed. Prior to departing for our day hike (Glacier lake from Upper Yubeng Village) the next day, the guesthouse even provided hiking poles, crampons, bottled water, Red Bull canned drinks and a homely ham and egg sandwich. We were also allowed to leave our bags stored with them as we had to check out in the late afternoon after returning from the hike. After checkout, the guesthouse also helped to call a vehicle to transport us down to lower Yubeng village. We wished we had stayed here longer throughout our trip to Yubeng. We felt very welcomed and had a memorable stay. Thank you so much!

Our stay here was nothing short of incredible. The primary reason for our visit was the sacred Meili Snow mountain, and the view absolutely delivered. Waking up to that majestic panorama right outside our window was a highlight of our entire trip. For the value, it's an unbeatable location. The hospitality here is what truly sets FANSU apart. The staff are super helpful and friendly, going out of their way to make us feel not just like guests, but like family. They created a homey and comfortable atmosphere that made it hard to leave. A special memory was made on our last evening when the staff taught us how to sing the beautiful ******* song ”FLY” by ANU. It was a spontaneous, joyful moment that we will cherish forever. A super big thank you to them for that! Regarding the food: we found the meals to be absolutely yummy and comforting. While we've seen some comments about the dinner being expensive, we found it perfectly reasonable for our usual dining expenditure, and more importantly, the quality and taste justified it. The breakfast was also lovely and set us up perfectly well for the day. We left with full hearts, amazing photos, and great memories. If you want an authentic, warm, and unforgettable experience facing the Meili Snow Mountain, we cannot recommend FANSU highly enough. We stayed in Yubeng during a week when access to the village was closed, and we were the only guests at the hotel. It’s located near the trailhead to Ice Lake and not too far from Lower Yubeng and the Sacred Waterfall (the return hike is steep, but anyone coming to this place should be prepared for long and demanding walks!). There was no room service during our stay (like trash collection), but the hosts were friendly, and the food at the restaurant was very tasty and fairly priced — especially considering the logistical challenges of stocking the kitchen. The room is simple but comfortable. The towels are disposable, which is a bit strange at first, but you get used to it (they actually dry you well). The view from the hotel balcony is unbelievable — definitely worth paying extra for a room with a view. We would happily stay there again.

Pierwszego dnia kobieta pracująca była bardzo pomocna i uprzejma, pomogła mi wyprać ubrania, przygotowała jedzenie i odpowiedziała na moje pytania. Drugiego dnia spotkałem inną kobietę, która nie korzystała z aplikacji do tłumaczenia, co utrudniało sprawę. Nie zrobiła mi gorącego napoju w kawiarni i nie wyjaśniła dlaczego, a także nie była zbyt pomocna w kwestiach transportu, ponieważ nie tłumaczyła swoich odpowiedzi. Niestety, to się wyróżnia, ponieważ 99% ludzi w Chinach pomaga! Poszedłem do innej kawiarni na końcu ulicy, gdzie ludzie od razu okazali się bardzo pomocni.

It’s a warm and cozy stay, making you feel at home at upper yubeng. Hotel is located just right by the start of the ice lake trial, so it’s very convenient. You’d get to enjoy the snow mountain view right outside your window! It gets cold at night during winter but there is an electric heater, floor and bathroom heating so you’d stay warm. There’s some hearty Cantonese dishes for you to order for dinner. Our stay comes with free breakfast and it’s a huge portal — enough to fuel you up for your hikes. They also provided us a sandwich to bring to go and eat on the hike! They also provide hiking poles and crampons if you did not bring them. Highly recommend for your stay at upper yubeng!
