„What a trip! The rooms are MASSIVE. It's essentially a full apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. The beds are extra extra large so perfect for families. For Western travellers, you may find the bed a bit hard. We were perfectly happy with it though. I personally will recommend Holiday Inn at the resort for those with kids. It's right next to the beginner tracks and that hotel hosts all the children activities and kids club. Though I don't know what the room is like. More from a location perspective. Wanda Jin Suites has 2 buildings. Best to get the 1st building as much closer to the beginner tracks and the service centre to rent ski gears. We were in the 2nd building. I will say from a location perspective, it was inconvenient for us as once you have snow boots on, it's a trek to carry your ski gears back and forth. There are lockers to put your ski gears in so we'll utilise that more next time. You do need WeChat though and if you don't have a local number, it gets difficult. If you're from Australia, just lose the 0 and add 18 at the front of your mobile number and that will get you through. But best to just get a local SIM to save you the hassle. But from a food perspective, they're right outside the building and short walk to the hot springs and the water park which is all included in the hotel fees. Including ski pass and going to the snow playground. At the snow playground, there's snowmobiles for kids to ride on amongst a lot of other activities. But that's extra money. Again, need WeChat. The hotel concierge when you check in will add you into their WeChat and you can ask them questions and they'll help you. Very convenient. It's an amazing place to come with kids. Water park is insane there and my son had a blast. The hot spring was also an amazing experience. Though very cold to get in and out of the hot springs at -20C. There are other activities outside the resort which hotel concierge will help you arrange. They can also shuttle you to the nearby village for more authentic food if you don't want to eat inside the resort. Beaware that the pharmacy at the resort does not have any ibuprofen or paracetemol. Strongly advise you get WeChat. You can book pretty much all the activities through their WeChat mini app. Including ski coaches. There are rogue ski coaches coming up to you to get business so beware. We almost got on a shuttle with a rogue coach that were gonna take us elsewhere and weren't even letting adults come (it was for the kids) and a hotel staff came up and essentially stopped them and forced them to give back the deposit. Book your coaches early. They book out quick. Particularly snowboarding. We also booked an igloo making class for our son and he had an amazing time. Though it's all in Mandarin of course. They have half day and full day camps for kids so parents can drop off and chill for the day. The staff here can barely speak English so bring your AI translator with you. We had less of a problem since I can speak Chinese but my husband often got stuck and needed me or even my son to help navigate around. Make sure you go back to the counter after returning your ski gear at the end of your stay to get your deposit back. We had an amazing time and would consider coming back.”

„Came back to this hotel again after 2 years. Very clean, comfy and just located in front of 1 of the ski track. Hotel staffs were friendly and provided good service. Hotel was equipped with washing machines & dryers which provided alot of convenience for us. The buffet breakfast was good as well. Although there is a distance to the center of the Resort & main ski center, but there were shuttle buses available every half an hour to fetch us to and fro. Highly recommended as the price is reasonable among the rest and value added is the hotel provided free ski experience & hotspring. We will definitely come back again.”

„Really made a good choice staying here instead of Holiday In Express. As the hotel is just beside the ski resort. No need to wait for any buses just walk to ski resort, ski village and even the hot spring. This hotel is very worth it. As you stay comes with complimentary: 1) Mini Bar in room 2) Hot Spring Access 3) Ski lift access ( 2000rmb deposit) 4) Snow activities 5) Breakfast 6) Shuttle from Changbaishan West Railway Station 7) Water Park At night the whole village really feel like in the alps. One night is too less for us to enjoy everything. Had an amazing sleep. Got bathtub. Room is big and with a wide view of the ski area. Very nice 5 stars.”

„331 On the 7th day of self-driving, I went to Wangswan Scenic Area and Changbai County during the day. The surrounding accommodation conditions were very poor. I chose Songjianghe Town, Fusong County to stay at this newly opened Home Inn. It was a pleasant surprise. Convenient transportation, close to the main entrance of the scenic spot, a few minutes walk, convenient parking, camping RV parking. The hotel is fully equipped, there is a laundry room, and the quality of toiletries is high. The hotel service is warm and thoughtful, and pets are prohibited. The breakfast is rich, it is the most abundant breakfast in the trip itinerary. The breakfast business hours are over at 10 o'clock. It is very suitable for long-distance tourists who do not think of early travel. We eat at 9:40, which does not affect the quality of the meal. The category is complete and the supply is timely. Like 👍 The price of accommodation is close to the people, and the group purchase is more affordable. The room has good sound insulation and sleep aid. The temperature difference between morning and evening in the Chixi area is large. The hotel has 24-hour central air conditioning, warm and comfortable. „We had a very good stay at the Westin Changbaishan Resort, which is part of the Wanda Ski Resort complex. We were warmly received by butler/assistant No.3 小陈, who ensured our stay was a fulfilling and engaging one. He assisted us with transport bookings and always reached out thru Wechat to see if we needed any help. Although the hardware and fixtures at the Westin are aging, the service staff from the hotel are excellent. We had a good experience at the Club lounge, with happy hour served from 5pm to 7pm and was always served with a smile by the lounge manager and assistants. Housekeeping was also great, and our room also came with a humidifier, which housekeeper always refilled daily. We also enjoyed the complimentary hot spring access (once per stay) but didnt try the water park as the weather was pretty cold. Highly recommend a stay at the Westin if you're coming to Ski/Snowboard at Changbaishan West Slope.”

„Obsługa była bardzo dobra, ale infrastruktura hotelu miała pewne wady. Obsługa była świetna, butler reagował na bieżąco, obsługa concierge była proaktywna i niezawodna, a personel ogólnie był bardzo entuzjastyczny. Restauracja śniadaniowa była zbyt mała, nieadekwatna do rozmiarów hotelu. Były kolejki, było ciasno, a wybór potraw nie był bogaty. Brakowało możliwości suszenia ubrań, nie było pralni samoobsługowej, a na liście usług pralniczych nie było opcji samego suszenia. Projekt ośrodka był uciążliwy. Nawet w Szwajcarii nie było blisko do stoków narciarskich. Dojście pieszo wymagało przejścia przez cały obszar rekreacyjny, więc lepiej było poczekać na shuttle bus. Na szczęście shuttle bus był szybki i nie trzeba było długo czekać. Centrum aktywności EP było kiepskie, dzieci narzekały, że nie ma tam nic do roboty. Nie można było już samodzielnie robić Tanghulu, można je było tylko odebrać o określonej godzinie. Jeśli chodzi o narciarstwo, ogólnie było w porządku, ale nie do końca pasowało do hotelu jako miejsca na rodzinne wakacje. Wiązania do snowboardu nie miały prawdziwych rozmiarów dziecięcych, były zdecydowanie za duże dla pięcio- czy sześciolatków.”
