„First a warning, this is not a hotel but more like an AirBnB. So if you are looking for hotel services such as a reception, lounge, breakfast, etc, it is not for you. Once you arrive you need to ask two ladies there at the entrance to contact the owners of the place to come and give you the code, etc. Rather unusual experience but it works. Having this clear, this is a very good option for accommodation in Xiamen. The most magnificent part is the amazing view. The same view that the 5 star Conrad hotel has next door for one fifth of the cost. The place is ulta clean which is the second best thing. Sparking clean and very well designed room. The battub in front of the window gives you an unforgottable experience. You can open a bottle of wine or make tea and enjoy bathing looking scenery for hours. Next thing is very good service, when I requested couple of things they came to my room rather quickly and helped with my request with a very positive attitude. Finally, it is very good for money, the location is great for this price. You are literally next door to one of the most luxurious hotels of Xiamen. There are many dining opportunities of middle level around and you are also close to the ferry port for the Gunggu island. Last, I want to give some recommendations to the owners: the onlyt thing i can criticse is the lack of a portable thing for hanging my clothes. The hangers on the walls were not enough. Next, it would be great if you would leave couple of tea bags and maybe also instant coffee in the room. It would cost you little and would make the guests stay in the room rather than going out for it. You can also modernise the airconditioner output. It is fine as it is but could be more aesthetic and also better controllable. A little desk (in addition to a portable dress hanger) would also make you attract business travellers. Overall I recommend the place and I would stay here again next time.”

„The rooms are a little outdated but very clean but the stains from the furniture and fittings being old do show. The breakfast is acceptable with various options but the pastry mostly caters to a Chinese palate. The hotel is ima good location with the subway a few hundred meters away. Plenty of places to get food close by and not too far from the famous Zhongshan Lu.”

„The hotel is located within an old building sharing with other hotel and office workers. No smoking smell inside the room and enclosed corridors (access with card key). Zhongshan road is nearby and lots of eating places. The staff was very good and helpful. Not a bad place to stay in Xiamen.”

„The moment I opened the door, the floor-to-ceiling windows revealed an endless ocean view. The morning sun sparkled on the shimmering sea like scattered diamonds, and in the evening, the sunset painted the sky orange, making the horizon look like a spilled palette. This sea-view suite gave me an unforgettable seaside vacation. The room design was simple yet stylish, with light wood furniture paired with off-white fabric sofas, creating an immediate sense of relaxation. The most delightful surprise was the two-meter-wide panoramic bed, perfectly aligned with the ocean. I fell asleep to the sound of waves every night and woke up gently to the first rays of dawn over the sea. The high-thread-count Egyptian cotton bedding was incredibly smooth, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom was equally impressive—a huge bathtub right next to the floor-to-ceiling window allowed me to take in the entire ocean view while bathing. The hotel thoughtfully provided sea salt bath bombs and aromatherapy candles, showcasing their attention to detail. The toiletries were from a well-known brand, and their woody scent surprisingly complemented the sea breeze. The balcony was my favorite spot. In the morning, I'd enjoy a pour-over coffee while watching seagulls glide over the water. In the afternoon, I'd lie on a rattan chair, flipping through a book, letting the slightly salty sea breeze caress my face. In the evening, I'd sip a glass of red wine, listening to the ebb and flow of the tide. The hotel also thoughtfully provided beach mats and parasols, and a two-minute walk led to their private beach, which had fine, soft sand, few people, and beautiful scenery. Regarding dining, the hotel's breakfast buffet offered a wide variety, with the freshly made seafood congee and local specialties being highly recommended. The afternoon tea at the executive lounge was also worth trying; the desserts were exquisite, the savory items delicious, and combined with the unbeatable sea view, it offered excellent value for money. The service team was always smiling; they proactively upgraded my room upon check-in and even gifted me handmade shell souvenirs upon check-out. This stay truly allowed me to experience the poetic life of ”facing the sea.” Whether for a romantic getaway, a family trip, or simply to unwind, this sea-view hotel is an excellent choice. I look forward to my next encounter with the sea.”
