Hotele Ocean View w: Fujian, China

First a warning, this is not a hotel but more like an AirBnB. So if you are looking for hotel services such as a reception, lounge, breakfast, etc, it is not for you. Once you arrive you need to ask two ladies there at the entrance to contact the owners of the place to come and give you the code, etc. Rather unusual experience but it works. Having this clear, this is a very good option for accommodation in Xiamen. The most magnificent part is the amazing view. The same view that the 5 star Conrad hotel has next door for one fifth of the cost. The place is ulta clean which is the second best thing. Sparking clean and very well designed room. The battub in front of the window gives you an unforgottable experience. You can open a bottle of wine or make tea and enjoy bathing looking scenery for hours. Next thing is very good service, when I requested couple of things they came to my room rather quickly and helped with my request with a very positive attitude. Finally, it is very good for money, the location is great for this price. You are literally next door to one of the most luxurious hotels of Xiamen. There are many dining opportunities of middle level around and you are also close to the ferry port for the Gunggu island. Last, I want to give some recommendations to the owners: the onlyt thing i can criticse is the lack of a portable thing for hanging my clothes. The hangers on the walls were not enough. Next, it would be great if you would leave couple of tea bags and maybe also instant coffee in the room. It would cost you little and would make the guests stay in the room rather than going out for it. You can also modernise the airconditioner output. It is fine as it is but could be more aesthetic and also better controllable. A little desk (in addition to a portable dress hanger) would also make you attract business travellers. Overall I recommend the place and I would stay here again next time.

I recently stayed at Lujiang Harbourview Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The hotel has a quaint charm — the room was decorated with a lovely olden-day, vintage feel, yet it was very comfortable and well-maintained. Breakfast was a highlight, with both buffet options and à la carte dishes. We especially enjoyed sampling some of Xiamen’s local specialties. Another pleasant surprise was the daily complimentary hi-tea served at the 1958 Lobby Bar — a wonderful touch that made our afternoons extra enjoyable. The location is simply unbeatable. The start of Zhongshan Pedestrian Street is right next to the hotel, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and exploring. I spent two full days wandering around the area. 八市街 is also just around the corner, offering plenty of delicious local food options. A special shout-out to staff member 张春燕, who went above and beyond in helping us. When we were unable to book ferry tickets through WeChat as foreigners, she kindly used her personal phone to help us secure them. Truly exceptional service — 5 stars for her! Overall, Lujiang Harbourview Hotel gave us a warm and memorable stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Xiamen.

I had a great stay in this property, got the room for a very affordable price, the location is very accessible to all, there is a mall, coffee shop, restaurant and convenience store downstairs and also the room had a nice view. The host is very accommodating, they have a cleaning service everyday and most importantly for me is the cleanliness of the room, the room is well maintained that's why i felt comfortable on my entire stay. Love this hotel! Great location very close to subway station and ZhongsanLou with lots of dining choices. Room is great for families too! Very big, equipped with a mini kitchen with induction cooker, pans, utensils, a huge ref and microwave! Practically your home away from home. The breakfast also has lots of great choices! The only ”glitch” for me here is the super long wait in the elevator mid-morning due to many checkouts and breakfast rush. Fire escape stairwell is also locked so we couldnt go down, so we ended up taking the elevator up just to go down. But overall the staff are very helpful, and they even accomodated our extended checkout time.

This is a very very nice hotel. The room was very clean and beautiful, with comfortable bed and a nice bathroom with bath tub. The indoor and outdoor pools were very enjoyable, clean, and perfect for swimming. The food was excellent and offered a wide selection of choices. I am a vegetarian and often do not have too many choices, even in buffets, but here it was different. There were very many different foods to pick from and all were tasty. We very much enjoyed the buffet breakfast and lunch and the afternoon buffet. The personnel was also very polite and kind. The beach is very close and very nice, too. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place.

The hotel is located within an old building sharing with other hotel and office workers. No smoking smell inside the room and enclosed corridors (access with card key). Zhongshan road is nearby and lots of eating places. The staff was very good and helpful. Not a bad place to stay in Xiamen.

Was confused as to how to get to the hotel as it is not a whole building for the hotel, instead mixed inside the apartment building. Was arrived by DiDi at night and it was freezing cold, with luggages at hand, and called the property however the person didn’t speak english. After using the message function then the translation can helped us communicate better, and the person in charge came outside of the building to pick me up and helped me with my luggages. Room was spacious with the view of sea in some distance can be seen. Only stayed 1 night during transit so I cannot review any further. There was free airport drop off provided, which helped. Overall I would be staying here again the next time I’m having a transit at Fuzhou.

Lokalizacja hotelu jest strategiczna, ale adres należy dokładnie przemyśleć, ponieważ znajduje się on na 20. piętrze. Punktem odniesienia jest hotel Mercure, do którego budynku można dojechać windą nr 20. Personel hotelu jest bardzo miły, pomógł mi, gdy zostawiłem telefon w taksówce. Pomogli skontaktować się z policją i wielokrotnie korzystali ze swoich telefonów, a także są bardzo troskliwi i pomocni.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, overall experience was positive room and staff is what you would expect for a hotel like this. Location wise is the only downside, it’s quite inconvenient if you are used to taking public transit in China, you’ll definitely need to take a Taxi or DiDi. The hotel breakfast I found was pretty underwhelming compared to other hotels I’ve been to in China. Yes there’s a lot of options but the taste was underwhelming. They have à la carte options which I found to be more enjoyable compared to the buffet style breakfast. The pool and gym was nice, there’s a lifeguard on duty, not much to add, you do need a bathing cap like all other pools in China, the gym is pretty limited but decent for a hotel. If you’re in Xiamen, you could consider booking this hotel for the views and nice hotel amenities. But if you prioritize location, I would consider other options on Xiamen island.
