Super hôtel avec un accueil très chaleureux ! Nous sommes venues au tout début de la saison du coup tout n’était pas encore ouvert mais nous avons passé une très agréable voyage ! L’hôtel se trouve à 30 min de l’aéroport de Heraklion. Je vous conseille de louer une voiture pour après profiter de l’île :) Merci encore pour l’accueil 😊

I stayed here with my mom for one night, and we were both very impressed. The value for money was excellent, and the room actually exceeded my expectations—it looked even better in real life than in the photos. We had a beautiful view from the window, and the location was perfect: quiet, yet only a two-minute walk to the beach. Same for bus stop to Chania. The staff were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful, which made us feel very welcome. The room was spotless, as was the bathroom, and it was equipped with everything we needed. It felt more like a small apartment, complete with a kitchen and a spacious balcony where we really enjoyed spending time. We liked it so much that we even wanted to extend our stay, but unfortunately the rooms were already fully booked for our dates. Overall, a wonderful experience and a place I would definitely recommend.

Room type booked was not given, having previously stayed here I chose the room type specifically to have this and was changed on arrival. Receptionist was not welcoming , couldn't care less when we advised of problem. Unable to shower due to such low water pressure. Noise from bars made it difficult to sleep.

Mmasle4koWe stayed in Sunrise apartments in the beginning of June. First of all I'd like to say a huge thank you to Nicko and Tonya, the hotel manager and his wife. They are amazing people,very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They made us feel at home during our stay. The hotel itself is located on a hill, but that's what gives you the best view of sunset and sunrise. They have a beautiful rooftop terrace with sunbeds, umbrellas, tables and chairs. It's a Beautiful spot with sea and mountain views to watch the sunset and have dinner in a relaxing atmosphere. The room was very clean and spacious with everything you needed and it was cleaned 4 times during our stay(10 days). All bedding and towels changed every time they cleaned the room. The cleaner was amazing too. She did such a great job. The pool was very clean and very pleasant, the water check was done by Nicko daily. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool. The hotel was approximately a 10 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minutes walk to the supermarket, which was quite good and had everything we needed. Restaurants and taverns are all located within walking distance,but if you want to rent a car or scooter, Nicko will help you with that too. He is very approachable and helpful. We were very happy with our choice of accommodation and highly recommend Sunrise apartments to other guests. Thank you Nicko for everything you have done for us and put up with us all 10 days and made our Crete experience unforgettable.

GGuest UserHad a fantastic stay. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable place to rest. I chose this hotel because it’s perfectly located between Heraklion city center and the airport. It’s about a 30 minute walk to the airport, ideal for a late-night or early-morning flight, and it’s right next to two bus stops with direct connections to the center. I booked this hotel last minute and had great communication with the staff beforehand about the possibility of a double bed. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade and it turned out to be one of the best rooms I stayed in during my three-month trip! The room was split over two levels, with the bed upstairs and a clean bathroom, workspace, sofa, and even a small terrace downstairs where you can relax. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained. The service was also wonderful: the woman at reception was really kind, and even when I checked out in the middle of the night, the staff member on duty was friendly and welcoming too. Thank you!

I can definitely tell you that it was one of the best holidays I have ever had, filled with nice people and great Greek weather. The hotel is located very conveniently, you have a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Lidl is just 5-7 min walk. Next to the hotel there was a great coffee shop- Move on. Next to the hotel there is a bus stop which will take you to Chania city centre for a nice promenade and a delicious dinner. Hotel itself is of an apartment style with amazing pool which was always well-maintained and clean. Every day the girls made sure that our room is clean and we have new towels, and they were making quite impressive compositions from flowers and towels😁 The manager of the hotel was extremely friendly and always dealt efficiently with any requests we had. Breakfast was delicious and overall our stay was extremely enjoyable. Definitely visit this hotel to feel the amazing Greek hospitality.

DDRIEDGERIt’s ok. Sone things are good. Like dinner is a fair price for the smorgasbord style. Breakfast is ok. Not great. But enough. Sufficient. AC does the job in the room. Slow. ButAC in common areas is at 25. For many cultures 25 is warm and puts ion a sheen or sweat still. Not fun to sweat indoors while eating. Prices are high for juices. Smoothies and such. Too bad. And some rules are weird. saying I can’t have my own food or drinks. Etc. sorry. Your a three star hotel. You don’t get to tell me what to do. We are paying for shelter annd accommodations. And we will live as we wish when it comes to basics. Food for thought. Wifi is useless in rooms. Or our room. Travellers need wifi in the modern eta. Simply unacceptable. Staff is ok. Not charming. But willing to try and help. Also: The pool - can’t be used after 6 pm, that’s insane. Travelled all over the world. I have never seen that before. It’s asinine. You leave for the day. Come back. And can’t swim after 6 pm, ridiculous. .

Otherwise, everything is tolerable! Clean well, clean everywhere. The question now is different: to Trip through which we booked this hotel. In the voucher from the company indicated meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) Upon check-in at the hotel, we were denied meals! They stated that they do not have free food. And the fact that we were deceived by the company in which we paid for the tour! As a result, no one fed us! Voucher from the company. Food trip and hotel voucher without food in my arms. GGuest UserThe Hotel Irakion is right in the centre of te Cretan capital. Excellent position to visit all attractions, museum, Lion Square etc or to just wander around taking in the atmosphere. Plenty of restaurants nearby. An open grill opposite the hotel was perfect to get a souvlaki to take back at night and eat it on the balcony with ouzo from the small 24 hour shop opposite hotel. The hotel itself I well run, clean. Has 24 hour reception. The room offered everything needed, hot shower, toiletries, plenty of loo roll towels and a fridge. Comfy large beds. Balcony with table and chairs. They also provided a decent hot and cold buffet to suit almost all tastes. The breakfast sets you up for the day of whatever you're doing next. Enjoy Greece 🇬🇷

PPetreIt's family run place, which features everything that you need. We stayed for a night only, but I could see that there is a small pull whit sunbeds around. The apartments are placed at different levels and there is a very nice view from them. We had a studio with air conditioner and modern kitchen with normal fridge, so I can assume a family can stay and cook regularly a week or more, if needed. The best point was the price we paid - especially that we needed it for one night only. The hospitality of Mr. Manolis is something you need to experience. I was tired when arrived and he immediately brought a bottle of cold water. Another one was there as well in the fridge. Small things that are valued.
