Dali Inns

This was the perfect start to our first trip to China — the hotel was right beside erhai lake and the views from the hotel cafe and the rooms were fantastic. The rooms were very clean and facilities modern and good (particularly the hotel cafe which serves coffee (each guest can redeem 1x coffee and unlimited cornetto ice creams and snacks from the cafe). It is also a ~6 minute walk away from a family-run bicycle shop where tourists can rent a bike from (20 元 for a full day) (there are rent-as-you-go bikes along the area too but they require a Chinese ID card in order for you to book). The service was also excellent and all the staff were very attentive. Each time we returned to the hotel, the staff would greet us with an option to get a bowl of rice noodles (mi xian 米线） or chinese dessert, depending on what time we arrived. There were also free flow fruits (some small apple-like fruit and cherry tomatoes) in the hotel lobby that was stocked through the day. Fantastic stay. We will definitely return if we come back to the area. (We had entered another hotel further down the same stretch for a coffee and that other hotel’s coffee and cleanliness paled in comparison; made us very thankful that we had booked this hotel instead). 10/10!

Service was fantastic, the host was superb! Place was clean, convenient, and included all that one could need on a vacation. In the heart of Ancient Dali, this was perfect for food, entertainment, and shopping. It is also minutes away from the famous Cangshan mountain, and the host is very considerate in assisting you with any arrangement you'd like, including cabs for railway and airport transportation. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the room matched exactly the photos that are on the site. Very often this is not the case. So, all in all it was a very pleasant experience at this location. Would definitely stay again and certainly would recommend this to anyone travelling to Dali. As a single female, I found this place to be very safe...especially with a considerate host, who looks out for you!

Very nice couple who owned the Inn. Room is very big, air con and water pressure and hot water works well. Room come with kettle, microwave, small fridge and air cleaning equipment and satellite tv. Simple morning Breakfast were excellent with coffee bean machine , eggs, cold dish and carb like bun or pancakes. Free bus coach for 1 pxn , abd complimentary 1 way fetch from railway station and airport if stay more than 2/3days. Complimentary motor car for rent 1 time per stay as well. Can ride up to only 50km thus please note, I did not use as traffic can be challenging in old town. Lastly it has a washing machine as well which I did not use. Excellent place to stay and chill in Dali and I strongly encourage you and your family to stay here. Note no elevator thus if you have a large luggage, please request for ground level.

We stayed at Lishe seaview resort hotel for 2 nights. The hotel upgraded us to a two-room apartment which I did not expect! The apartment had spectacular view of Erhai in the living room and master bedroom. I had the foresight of having one free and easy day and we pretty much stayed in most of the time to soak in the view. The staff service was amazing. The team reached out to me via trip.com the day before we check in (fantastic initiative) as overseas visitors like me are not familiar with the WeChat usage. When we arrive, the staff were on standby to receive us and bring us to the apartment as we got there via our own driver. The hotel sent nightly desert (white fungus) to our apartment. One important aspect of the hotel is the delicious and wide spread of breakfast. The breaky was on the highest floor offering great views of Erhai, and the lady attendant there was polite, cheerful and has great service. When we checked, the hotel staff came to the apartment and send us to the car. They also presented a farewell bag of goodies - including rose Chinese cakes (which were super delicious!), tea and sweets. It was an awfully thoughtful gesture. I had the rose Chinese cake during breaky and loved them. So I was super happy to find them in the farewell gift. I would strongly recommend a stay here if you are in Dali. Fellow Singaporeans- you would love this place! I think even if I did not get the upgrade, I would have loved the view too. Just keep one day of doing nothing and enjoy the beautiful view and the hotel hospitality. The hotel staff were service oriented, always smiling, polite and helpful. I mean every staff we encountered, even the cleaning staff! This hotel was a great highlight of our Dali stay. I would definitely come back to stay at Lishe when next back to Dali.

Hotel zaprojektowany ze smakiem, z przytulnym i gościnnym lobby. Na szczególną uwagę zasługuje wewnętrzny dziedziniec i ogród – piękna, wyjątkowa oaza z mnóstwem roślin, kwiatów, drzew i zachęcającymi miejscami do siedzenia, które tworzą wspaniałą atmosferę sprzyjającą relaksowi i poczuciu się jak w domu. Nasz pokój był bardzo przestronny, wygodny i wyposażony we wszystko, czego potrzeba. Wszystko było nieskazitelnie czyste. Obsługa była dobra, a personel zawsze przyjazny i pomocny. Śniadanie serwowane jest w formie małego, ale dobrze dobranego menu. Komunikacja za pośrednictwem WeChat przebiegała bardzo sprawnie, z wykorzystaniem funkcji tłumaczenia. Byliśmy szczególnie wdzięczni młodemu pracownikowi, który pomógł nam zorganizować dalszą podróż do Shaxizhen 沙溪镇. Ogromne podziękowania dla wszystkich w hotelu – czuliśmy się bardzo komfortowo i z przyjemnością polecamy go innym.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Upon our arrival at Dali Station, the driver was quick to respond and gave clear directions to the pick-up point. He was also very helpful with our luggages, which made the start of our trip smooth and pleasant. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout our stay. They upgraded our room, promptly addressed our needs (room's toilet issues, rental of bikes) and offered helpful advice on how to get around Dali, which we truly appreciated. Our room was clean, comfortable, and offered a beautiful view — a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dali! Have also feedback to the hotel that it will be great if they have more hooks in the shower area. We will be back! 😀

酒店環境特別特別好，位置在雙廊的玉幾島上，位置極佳，離楊麗萍老師的太陽宮月亮宮特別特別近，在屋裡可以喂海鷗，床上可以賞風景，超級棒，尤其酒店的服務太好了！都是一對一管家式服務，特別是服務我們的小張同學，非常細緻周到熱情有禮貌，提前迎接，還送我們到停車場，為孩子準備的可愛的小拖鞋和牙刷，精心準備的下午茶，太滿意了！酒店公共區域也為客人開放，在海邊喝杯咖啡，吃點零食，太棒了！

I recently stayed here as a solo traveler, and this hotel was the highlight of my trip to Dali. The hotel is located directly opposite the South Gate of Dali Old Town - truly steps away from the ancient city walls, only 3-4 mins walk yet it's quiet at night. There are also many delicious local eateries all within a 2-minute walk and also foot massage place. After you explore and have tired feet, I highly recommend that place - only 2 mins walk from the hotel. Calling a taxi (DiDi) to any attraction is also very convenient. The hotel owner is an incredibly kind and genuine person. She made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Even though I speak very little mandarin, they made an effort to speak very slowly for me. The most memorable moment was when she invited me to join her and her friends for a home-cooked dinner at the hotel. As a solo traveler, that gesture of community was truly special and something I can't book on trip.com. This hotel made my Dali trip unforgettable. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

value for money type of stay on this side of Dali. With good views and a good location after you get used to looking for the right alley. There is a rooftop communal area that is superb for photos and just watching the sunset. Plenty of amenities that would surprise you - tea pot set, hanging rack outside your room.

We rented the Garden Deluxe Room, with a mountain view. We find the description and pictures were accurately advertised, and the service was impeccable. We were very pleased with our rental, as it was private, clean and orderly. The hotel is conveniently located within the Dali Ancient Town, close to Biai Road and Renmin Road intersection (see picture of map). The morning and night views from the terrace were stunning. The Dali Ancient Town is as lively as you would imagine, with tons of food and shopping options. Our experience in Dali was awesome, with it's majestic mountains, beautiful lake, vibrant towns and peaceful villages. However, the best part of this stay was our interactions with the hotel owners, who are a lovely couple. They are good people - very kind, helpful and approachable. Although we had to use an English to Mandarin translation app for most of our conversations, they were patient and made recommendations that we really enjoyed. They helped us book a tour of Erhai Lake and we had a wonderful time sightseeing with the bus tour company (highly recommended if you don't know where to start exploring). We also took their scooter bike to explore the Three Pagodas on our own and drove around the lake afterwards. Please consider renting their scooter bike, as it was super fun and the price is very affordable. As language is a barrier for us, they not only helped us book our ride to Lijiang, but they also gave us a hotel recommendation, which their son runs. To us, they are very trustworthy, so we're sure we will have another pleasant stay in Lijiang. After all, it's not how clean the hotel is, or how beautiful the surroundings are, it's the people we meet along the way that makes it a wonderul trip experience. If there is another hotel rating for overall hotel experience, it would be a 10/5 for us. The owners definitely made our short stay very comfortable and our adventures amazing - thank you so much! We would definitely come back to this hotel if we are in this area again!
