To był piękny pokój z pięknym widokiem. Byłem bardzo zadowolony! Kiedy wysiadłem z windy, żeby się wymeldować w drodze powrotnej, czekał tam na mnie pracownik hotelu, który mnie pokierował. Pomyślałem, że możliwość wymeldowania się bez czekania to znak, że to hotel pierwszej klasy.

Hotel był świetny pod wieloma względami - lokalizacja tuż przy stacji City Hall - entuzjastyczni, pomocni bagażowi, którzy wykazywali inicjatywę, aby pomóc - bardzo czyste pokoje, duża łazienka - widok na City Hall z mojego pokoju był świetny - mój pokój nie miał wystarczająco dużo miejsca, aby otworzyć torby bagażowe na podłodze, chyba że odsuniesz ciężkie krzesła Była tylko jedna rzecz, której nie mogłem zrozumieć. I would like to take a moment to express my appreciation for the consistently warm and welcoming atmosphere I experience each time I visit your hotel. The staff, in particular, has always made a positive impression, offering an exceptional level of service that truly enhances my stay. However, I would like to bring to attention a concern that I encountered during my most recent visit. While the majority of the team exhibits exemplary professionalism and courtesy, I did notice that a few individuals seemed to approach their roles with a sense of authority that bordered on rigidity. It appeared that, at times, their position was interpreted as a form of power or entitlement rather than a service-oriented responsibility. As a guest, I believe that the true role of a hotelier is to serve and assist, regardless of one's title or position. The spirit of hospitality, in my view, lies in creating an environment where guests feel valued and respected, without the presence of any sense of hierarchy or authority overshadowing the experience.

I recently stayed at the Royal Hotel Seoul in Myeongdong, and overall, it’s a solid choice if you want convenience, comfort, and easy access to everything in the city. The location is definitely the hotel’s biggest advantage — you step right out into the heart of Myeongdong where shops, street food stalls, cafés, and subway stations are all just a few minutes away. It’s incredibly easy to explore Seoul from here. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, though on the smaller side, which is common in busy city-center hotels. The bed was comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job keeping the room tidy throughout the stay. The décor leans a bit more classic than modern, but everything functions well. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially during check-in and when handling luggage. They responded quickly to requests and were polite throughout the stay. However, a few service inconsistencies were noticeable — nothing major, but some guests might pick up on it. Facilities are decent but not standout. The breakfast was okay, though the selection felt limited for the price. The lounge and common areas are clean but could use a refresh. Some bathroom layouts also feel a little dated, and water pressure/temperature can vary at times. Overall, Royal Hotel Seoul is best for travelers who want to be right in the center of the action and value convenience above everything else. If you prioritize bigger rooms or modern luxury, you might find it a bit modest. But for location, cleanliness, and a comfortable stay, it’s a reliable option in Myeongdong.

JW is 5 star because of excellent assistance and service from the Conceirge to bellboy! Oliver recommended and assisted us to book a nice dinner venue for my family at Seokparang. He even initiated to assist me in booking a cab. Mason helped us with the luggage. He even took initiative to ask us for our airport transfer car plate number so he can keep a lookout for us. He even initiated to ask us to sit inside the hotel lobby while he kept a lookout for us. As he understood we are rushing to catch the flight, he even helped us to translate to the cab uncle to hurry for us. All of them speak fluent English, are very warm hearted and takes initiative in offering excellent service with genuine smiles. Our hearts are deeply grateful to them. 5 star 🌟 because of them. 4 star for the rooms don’t have Netflix. It would be great if the family can gather over Netflix entertainment. Small issue though as the service more than cover up for everything! :) We were offered a nice river view which was romantic! Very clean hotel. Location is excellent as train station and direct bus airport limousine is just by the hotel. Great connectivity. Will definitely revisit this hotel again.

I stayed here for a night out in Seoul with a close friends from high school, and his wife meeting up in Asia. As always, when staying at the Grand Hyatt, you end up not having a “night out” but rather a “night in” because the amenities at the hotel are spectacular. The live band in the lobby bar, the pool turned into the Girbaud ice skating rink, amazingly cooked steakhouse, the indoor pool, etc etc. We had a great night, and once again, when staying at any Grand Hyatt, you never know who you’ll run into. On this occasion, we had run into solo artist/actor Mr Henry Lau, also from Super Junior, and was he was not only kind enough to take a quick photo with my friend’s wife, but I messed up the photo—and after learning I had bumbled the photo during her opportunity to meet one of her k-pop idols—was willing to take another entire series of photos. The staff ended up helping me with a medical emergency in the middle of the night and stayed very calm during the entire process. Which I will also report to the company directly. When traveling to Korea—Seoul, Jeju, etc. and anywhere abroad I often stay at the Grand Hyatt in the King Corner Suite. Such a beautiful room, but on this occasion it was just a normal King River view on 9F. A bit small for 3 people, but they made a sofa bed for me while I gave the couple the bed since I only grabbed the room for us (me) for a few hours before I head back to Wuhan—allowing my friends to enjoy the hotel to themselves after I departed. Easy checkout process for them. It was very nice. Will definitely be back. Grand Hyatt ＜3 !

Pros: - The manager was nice - Hotel was clean and location is nice - Hot spring is as good as advertised Cons: - We arrived at 7am, no staff was present in the counter and we used the Kiosk machine to virtually contact a staff because we only wanted to drop our bag (likely outsourced as we heard there was customer service like conversation and keyboards in the background). We were told to either drop our luggage next to the kiosk machine or we could wait until 9am as the manager will be back at 9. We weren't aware there was office of a spa hotel so we went out for a coffee and came back at around 8:50 in the morning and waited until 9:10. We called again and the lady said the manager will be back at 10am. We wanna make sure if there was staff actually coming but the kiosk cut our line and never picked up our call again. We had no choice but to wait and at last we waited till 9:45 (almost a 3 hour wait) and finally we could drop our bag. If there was office hour of the hotel it should be clearly stated for bad drop and available reception office hour. When we checked out, we would like to keep our bags and the female staff (not the friendly manager mentioned in the pros) was rather rude and told us we could only leave our bag here until 4pm, and told us. in Korea you can only keep your bag until 4. I wasn't sure if it is true but it was different to my previous experience in other Korean hotel. Overall I would say the hotel was nice, certainly not spacious but it was clean and tidy. Good environment overall I would say. It was however not an enjoyable experience because of the staff and services provided. Be reminded to check their office hours when planning your trip.

The location is excellent. It’s walkable distance to Starfield Coex. Nice cafe, restaurants and convenience store nearby. Check in/our process is quick and easy. 0 seconds wait time. The room itself is clean and well equipped. Clean towels and water refill everyday. The only thing is, clean up service only come once in 4 days, but there isn’t any cleaning towel or detergent in the room, so it could make things quite messy if you eat in the unit. Overall, recommended for family.

Napełnienie wanny trwa wieki, więc udaje nam się wymoczyć tylko nogi. W wannie nie ma zasłony, więc po napełnieniu gorącą wodą całe pomieszczenie będzie pokryte gorącym powietrzem, przez co wszystko będzie „mokre”. Uwielbiam pomysł z dużą wanną, ale jest po prostu niepraktyczna. - Nowe ręczniki i kosmetyki do kąpieli są dostarczane tylko podczas sprzątania pokoju. Nawet nie pościelili łóżka.
