Great review! It's a loft with European-style decor, located in a Shikumen alleyway. I loved the small courtyard, perfect for an evening drink. It was clean and hygienic, with one large bed, one small bed, and a sofa. There's a projector and a smart toilet, plus a kitchen fully equipped with utensils, dishes, and seasonings. A microwave is also available for heating food. The hot water and air conditioning worked perfectly. Disposable towels are available for a fee. There's also a washing machine and a drying rack, which is excellent and very convenient for longer stays! The service was very good, and any issues were promptly resolved. It's not far from attractions like the Bund and museums. Sinan Mansions and Tianzifang are within walking distance, with the latter being particularly close and great for a stroll. The sheets and duvet covers were clean and comfortable. The sofa bed comforter was a bit thick, and the large bed's mattress was quite soft – I personally prefer a firmer bed, but everything else was great. Highly recommend!

My experience at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The room was super clean and comfortable, which made my stay very pleasant. What really stood out was the staff's kindness; it truly touched me. When I was struggling to figure out how to order takeout, they patiently explained everything and even personally helped me with a drink purchase since I'm a foreigner and had difficulty with the payment. At checkout, they even gave me a hand cream as a gift, making my trip perfect right until the very end. Thanks to their warm hospitality and the immaculate room, I had a truly wonderful time. I will definitely be back!

Our stay has been a pleasure. The room is well furnished with all the essentials needed for an holidays of more than one day (fridge, washing machine and dryer). The beds are very soft and there is enough room for luggages. Our room is located in the French concession quarter, an interesting area with a lot of nice restaurants for all the budgets, convenience store and coffee. The service is very kind and helpful: the host has created a weChat group for us, with all the staff to answer our needs, and they provided us all the information days before the checking, ensuring that everything was clear. They bought us also water bottles for our stay. Few negative points to be discussed: the road in which our room (named Rome or ”Luoma”) is located is in a secondary street, unfortunately full of poor maintained house. When we saw the main entrance of the building we thought we were being scammed, since it was a mess with mold and falling paints from the wall, garbage and boxes. Fortunately the room is completely different! Another negative point are the windows that are super thin. Even if closed, you can hear everything from the road (the last night the neighbour were arguing for more than 1 hour and we could hear everything. It was like they were with us in the room!). The curtains are ok for the privacy, but not for the light: at 5 am the light of the sun was so strong that we needed to use eye masks to be able to sleep a little more. In general, our staying has been very pleasant and we suggest it! We hope that the host fix soon the few negative points

This guesthouse, while not huge, has a really nice ambiance. It's located in the old town, super close to supermarkets and the metro station, making transportation incredibly convenient. The hosts were amazing too – very responsive and quick to deliver anything we needed. The service was excellent and felt really friendly. Our room was also cozy and comfortable! It's fantastic value for money, and I'll definitely stay here again next time. 🌟🌟🌟

I initially chose this place just for its location, but once I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the front desk staff was. They asked if it was my first time staying and personally showed me to my room, and then to the bathroom facilities. Although the room was small, it was neat and clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. It's rare for a hostel to provide two pillows, which was a nice touch. The shower area was surprisingly spacious with a separate wet and dry area, and most importantly, it was incredibly clean. The toilet was a smart bidet and also very well-maintained – a huge shoutout to the cleaning staff! The common area is quite large with window seats offering a good view.

The room was generally clean and tidy. The main highlight is the excellent location; it's very convenient to get a taxi anywhere, and it's not far from the subway station. There are also plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The staff were responsive and efficient in handling any issues, and their service attitude was very good. My stay was comfortable and reassuring. This trip to Shanghai was very pleasant, and I'm very satisfied with the overall experience. If I need to come back, I'll definitely stay here again, and I recommend it to others!

The hotel's location is super convenient, right next to Shanghai Railway Station. You just have to cross an underpass after exiting the subway. The ladies at the front desk were so warm and helpful, making the check-in process quick and easy. The room was really spacious, and the bathroom was huge too. Plus, there's a laundry room nearby offering free wash and dry services. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.

The room was very clean and had no strange odors. All the staff were very friendly. I booked a twin room, and the front desk upgraded us to a family room for free when they saw my husband and I had a child. When we were checking out, my husband asked me to buy some water, and the front desk overheard and gave us two bottles of mineral water for free. The service was really thoughtful. The most important thing is that this hotel has a great location. It's only about a 20 RMB Didi ride to the Bund, and the People's Square subway station is just a few hundred meters away. Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is also very close. Even better, this hotel is very close to the Shanghai International Trade Hotel Bakery, just two blocks away. The beef noodles downstairs are delicious and cheap, only 16 RMB a bowl, and they're open until 1 AM. There's also a Shanghai soup dumpling place downstairs that's very tasty, and many celebrities have visited it. This is my honest review, and I hope it helps future travelers.

We always stay bere when.we come to Shanghai! The location is perfect to be in.the middle of the city and the apartment is just what we need for a family of.4. We will come to stay again soon.

We were very happy with our stay at Waiting Hotel! First of all, the location is excellent. The hotel is very close to the Bund and Yu Garden, making it easy to reach many of Shanghai’s beautiful and popular attractions on foot. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We stayed on the sixth floor and also enjoyed the view from our window. The rooms are not very large, but they are cozy, thoughtfully arranged, and have everything needed for a comfortable stay. We would especially like to thank the hotel staff for their excellent service and kind attitude. On the day of our departure, we were unable to check out by 12:00, and the staff kindly allowed us to stay until after 2:00 PM. This was extremely helpful for us, and we truly appreciated their understanding and flexibility. We are very grateful to the hotel team for their hospitality, care, and excellent service. We had a wonderful experience and would gladly stay here again. We can definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shanghai! We arrived at around 3:00 AM, and the staff welcomed us and checked us in immediately without any problems. They were very attentive and even helped us with our luggage. The elevator goes up to the fifth floor, while our room was on the sixth floor, so the staff kindly helped us carry a heavy suitcase upstairs. Прежде всего хочется отметить отличное расположение: отель находится совсем рядом с набережной Вайтань и садом Юйюань, поэтому до многих красивых и интересных мест Шанхая можно легко добраться пешком. В отеле было чисто и уютно. Мы жили на шестом этаже, и вид из окна нам тоже понравился. Номера небольшие, но комфортные и хорошо продуманные, есть всё необходимое для проживания. Отдельно хочется поблагодарить сотрудников отеля за прекрасный сервис и доброжелательное отношение. В день выезда мы не успевали освободить номер к 12:00, и нам любезно разрешили остаться до после 14:00. Для нас это было очень важно и действительно помогло. Мы очень благодарны персоналу за гостеприимство, понимание и заботу о гостях. У нас остались только приятные впечатления. С удовольствием остановились бы здесь снова и можем смело рекомендовать этот отель для проживания в Шанхае! Мы приехали примерно в 3 часа ночи, и нас сразу же встретили и без проблем заселили. Персонал был очень внимательным и даже помог нам с чемоданами. Лифт в отеле поднимается до пятого этажа, а наш номер находился на шестом, поэтому сотрудники помогли поднять тяжёлый чемодан наверх, за что мы им особенно благодарны.
